As I\u2019m sure you know by now, Selena Gomez<\/a> and Benny Blanco<\/a> got married on Saturday, and while the happy couple have shared some photos<\/a> of their day on Instagram, they haven\u2019t divulged any of the specific details.\"There<\/p>\n

There have been various reports from anonymous sources in the days since the nuptials, but nobody from the actual wedding party has spoken out… Until now.<\/p>\n

Selena\u2019s Wizards of Waverly Place<\/a> costar David DeLuise, who played the star\u2019s onscreen dad Jerry in the Disney Channel show, and his wife, Julia DeLuise, were among the star-studded guests, and have been spilling the beans on Instagram.\"<\/p>\n

Per People<\/a>, Julia, who is also an actor, confirmed reports that Selena\u2019s best friend Taylor Swift<\/a> and British singer Ed Sheeran<\/a> gave a speech at the wedding, with Julia saying: \u201cThe speeches \u2014 Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift gave speeches \u2014 it was wonderful. Mainly Taylor.\u201d\"And<\/p>\n

And just how much Julia has fawned over Taylor in light of Selena\u2019s big day has raised eyebrows on social media, with Julia also detailing that she had a 10-minute conversation with the singer, who complimented her dress.<\/p>\n

Julia explained that she was with Wizards star Jennifer Stone<\/a> when Taylor came over to them. She said: \u201cShe walked over while we were waiting for Selena to come to get married, and she knows Jennifer, so she came straight toward us.\u201d\"<\/p>\n

“When she walked in, all these other people were already there, but it was like the heavens opened up and an angel descended, and it was her. She walked in and she walked up to us and we talked,\u201d Julia went on.\"<\/p>\n

David added in another of Julia\u2019s since-expired Instagram stories: \u201cBeing around Taylor, she’s just amazing. Like the energy that was popping off of her.”\"<\/p>\n

And people can\u2019t help but side-eye these comments being made about anyone other than the bride after a wedding, with one person quote-tweeting Julia\u2019s comments and adding<\/a>: \u201cIf my wedding guests spoke about my friend like this at my own wedding, they would be getting an invoice for the meal they had.\u201d\"\u201cat<\/p>\n

\u201cat someone else\u2019s wedding? @D_DELUISE have some respect,\u201d another echoed<\/a>, while one more asked<\/a>: \u201csaying this about someone else\u2019s wedding???\u201d<\/p>\n

And another pointed out<\/a>: \u201cBabe it\u2019s Selena\u2019s wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEven Selena Gomez not safe from being upstaged on her wedding day,\u201d somebody else mused<\/a>, and one more shared a shocked GIF with the caption<\/a>: \u201csaying this about someone on someone\u2019s else\u2019s wedding day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Julia also revealed that details of the wedding were kept \u201cpretty secret\u201d after she and David received the initial invitation, and they were eventually given two hotel options to be picked up from.\"<span><\/p>\n

“We knew we would be picked up at a certain time at one of those hotels, then go straight to the wedding,” she said, before praising the \u201cgorgeous\u201d venue. “The effort they put, the wedding planners, the way they set this all up, I mean, that was insane.\u201d<\/p>\n

Julia also noted that there was a live band during the reception, adding: \u201cWe danced so much, it was amazing. We danced like right next to Lizzo<\/a>, and right next to all these other famous people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople were not allowed to bring their phones into the wedding or to the party afterward,\u201d she also revealed. “You would get there and they would take your phone and put it in like a little pouch, you would get a number, and would be able to pick it up later.”<\/p>\n

Both Julia and David said that they cried during the ceremony, with David saying of the vows: \u201cEverything that was said was so great. And when they opened the curtain for the first time in the day, the sun came out, and it was sunset behind her. It was as if they were like: ‘Don’t worry, cue the sun.’ I was crying, of course, the whole time.”<\/p>\n
