The stunning and secluded getaway Heyscape Denmark has received global recognition, being named top 30 in the world in National Geographic\u2019s Hotel Awards 2025.<\/p>\n

The annual awards recognises hotels that embody one of 10 different categories, ranging from romantic bolthole to budget break, each crowning a winner and two runners-up.<\/p>\n

With extravagant hotels from all corners of the world in contention, the humble Heyscape Denmark in WA\u2019s backyard was bestowed runner-up in the remote escape category.<\/p>\n

Recognising hotels in \u201cthe wilds and away from the crowds… worth the journey\u201d, the secluded spot located a 4.5 hour drive out of Perth certainly fits the bill.<\/p>\n

Promising an off-grid experience, Heyscape offers a variety of different cabin types tucked away in the woods, letting visitors unwind and immerse in nature.<\/p>\n

The accommodation offers holidaymakers endless options to take a forest walk, swim in quiet coves or opt for the sunken outdoor bath.<\/p>\n

A standout opportunity is the marron catch \u2018n\u2019 cook, where guests can hand catch marron, guided by experts, and then fry the seafood up at their cabin bbq \u2014 giving an authentic experience while displaying gems of what the region has to offer.<\/p>\n

Head of Heyscape Tim Brady said the past year has seen their hotel grow and innovate into an immersive experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe opened three single off-grid cabins on Raintree Estate in Denmark only 10 months ago and are about to expand with 12 new cabins, complete with a communal sauna and e-bike trails connecting one of Australia\u2019s most spectacular coastal national parks,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur immersive experience offering is an Australian-first for higher density cabins. The exclusive marron catch \u2018n\u2019 cook, outdoor bathing under a starlit sky and on-site restaurant is truly unique.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled with this global recognition. Visitors are wanting to connect with nature in new ways and are seeking to slow down, evidenced by the phenomenal response we have seen to Heyscape Denmark.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the review of the runner-up winner, National Geographic credited the picturesque surroundings in a secluded space for the vaunted recognition.<\/p>\n

\u201cDistant waves crashing on granite rocks and wind rustling through karri trees lull guests to sleep at Heyscape Denmark, a collection of three off-grid cabins scattered over the hills of a regenerative cattle farm,\u201d National Geographic<\/a> wrote on its website.<\/p>\n

\u201cLocated five hours south of Perth, and bordered by William Bay National Park, this is a place to escape the world, wandering along forest trails to take a dip in quiet coves or opting for a soak in the outdoor bathtub.\u201d<\/p>\n

Down Under\u2019s other global contender hailed from Victoria, with Hyde Melbourne Place being named a runner-up in the designer den category. It was flagged for its \u201cuber-modern\u201d styling.<\/p>\n

A night at Heyscape Denmark starts from $520 a night, with prices depending on the cabin and if a breakfast hamper is included.<\/p>\n
