Watch what you wear when you show up to cast a ballot on Nov. 6. <\/p>\n

Apparel branded with San Antonio Spurs and San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo logos will be barred from local polling stations for this fall\u2019s election, Bexar County Elections Administrator Michele Carew told KSAT<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Not only will election volunteers block voters from polling stations wearing their fan gear, they\u2019ll even be prohibited from displaying it 100 feet from the entrance, according to the TV station.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s because Propositions A and B on the ballot will decide whether to use funds from city\u2019s and county\u2019s visitor taxes to fund a new Spurs arena and upgrades to East Side facilities including the Stock Show & Rodeo grounds. <\/p>\n

\u201cWearing any type of apparel that [mentions] any team or association on the ballot is considered electioneering,\u201d Carew told the TV station.<\/p>\n

Electioneering \u2014 the act of actively or passively trying sway people to vote a certain way \u2014 is prohibited in polling stations, which is why election volunteers turn away voters who show up wearing shirts, hats or buttons endorsing a particular candidate.<\/p>\n
