The candidate, just like for the midfield with Ardon Jashari, could come from Club Brugge.

On Tuesday evening, a great game between Atalanta and Brugge took place not far from Milan. What got everyone talking wasn’t so much the result, but rather the comments made by one player after the match.

Indeed, Tresoldi spoke to Sky after the game and made a revelation: “I follow Italian football, and my dream has always been to play for AC Milan, having always been a Milan fan.” His words haven’t gone unnoticed by Rossoneri supporters on social media, who believe he is a name to watch.

It is certainly not great news for Club Brugge, who have already had two of their star players force a move to Milan in recent years. Firstly there was Charles De Ketelaere – who now ironically plays for Atalanta – and then Jashari in the most recent window.

Nicolò Tresoldi is a 21-year-old player who grew up in Italy but moved to Germany in 2017. This allowed him to play for the German U21 national team, with whom he also competed for the European Championship.

Despite this, however, the forward hasn’t closed his eyes to the Italian national team: “Right now I’m playing for the German national team, but if Gattuso called me, I’d be happy to have a chat. I’m happy with Germany, but who knows what happens in the future.”

Could Milan call too? In terms of his credentials he already has seven goal contributions this season with five of them goals. He has a goal and an assist in the Champions League as well, so remains one to watch.

[45
221,62,67,132,68
0":"post-275255","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-soccer","8":"tag-soccer","9":"tag-sports","10":"tag-united-states","11":"tag-unitedstates","12":"tag-us
["GET
