(File photo by Chris Stone\/Times of San Diego)<\/p>\n<p>A bicyclist was seriously injured Friday when he collided with a trolley downtown east of the Santa Fe Depot.<\/p>\n<p>The accident took place in the 100 block of West C Street shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandiego.gov\/police\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">San Diego Police Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics took the victim, believed to be about 50 years old, to UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest. <\/p>\n<p>The bicyclist was being treated for a compound leg fracture, Officer David O\u2019Brien said.<\/p>\n<p>READ NEXT<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An ambulance in San Diego.
