Jefferson (6-4, 317), a second-year player out of Louisiana State University, originally was a fourth-round pick of Jacksonville in 2024. He has played in nine career games for the Jaguars (2024) and 49ers (&#8217;25), and has 12 total tackles with one sack. He was waived by the 49ers yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>**Waived DT Howard Cross III.
