The company bid about $10.5 million for the project, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/d3n9y02raazwpg.cloudfront.net\/humble-tx\/e70c29d1-6f73-11ee-b4aa-0050569183fa-ebc5fcf5-5ee0-49f0-881b-bc93fbd4747c-1758311331.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sept. 25 meeting documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Humble\u2019s Northshire Lift Station project includes wastewater system upgrades so that the city&#8217;s sewer service can handle the growth occurring in northwest Humble, according to meeting documents. The project work includes repairing pipes and electric systems in the lift station and adding or replacing sewer lines.<\/p>\n<p>The project was originally estimated to cost $11 million to construct, City Manager Jason Stuebe said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Latest update<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 25, City Council also authorized city leaders to select <a href=\"https:\/\/larryyoungpaving.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Larry Young Paving Inc.<\/a> for $314,960 to upgrade <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/houston\/lake-houston-humble-kingwood\/transportation\/2025\/06\/17\/traffic-lights-at-3-intersections-in-humble-to-undergo-upgrades\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">traffic lights<\/a> at three Humble-area intersections.
