Click here to watch<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Single day tickets went on sale for Wrigley Field home games starting at 1 p.m. Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Those planning on being at Gallagher Way for Saturday&#8217;s watch party can only buy a total of six tickets. Funds raised by those ticket sales benefits Cubs Charities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Cubs fans will draw large crowds at Wrigley of course, and throughout the neighborhood when they return next week, but they will also be well represented in Milwaukee starting with the first game Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">First pitch in Game 1 between the Cubs and Brewers is set for 1:08 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \"><strong class=\"vtkaO \">NLDS schedule:<\/strong><br class=\" \"\/>Game 1 (at MIL): Saturday at 1:08 p.m. CT<br class=\" \"\/>Game 2 (at MIL): Monday at 8:08 p.m. CT<br class=\" \"\/>Game 3 (at CHC): Oct. 8<br class=\" \"\/>Game 4 (at CHC, if necessary): Oct. 9<br class=\" \"\/>Game 5 (at MIL, if necessary): Oct. 11<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">All was quiet on a beautiful Friday afternoon outside Wrigley Field. It seemed everyone was recharging after an exciting three-game series this week and before the division series kicks up next week. Tickets are sold out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Wrigleyville bars and restaurants are celebrating a few extra days of baseball. It comes at a good time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;Commerce, especially in October, which seems to be a slower month and when the Cubs are doing a great job and will go all the way to the World Series it means everybody wins,&#8221; sad Maureen Martino with the East Lakeview Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">At Old Crow, they have doubled their beer and food orders and called in extra staff for next week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;We had a great season. Everything was super busy,&#8221; said Leah Blask with Old Crow. &#8220;We had so many people here. Now we have these bonus games. More time to enjoy Wrigleyville.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Or Wisconsin. Cubs fan Billy Kerstein is one of thousands of Cubs fans traveling to Milwaukee for the first two games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;Milwaukee&#8217;s not that far away,&#8221; Kerstein said. &#8220;Got a lot of customers, family who want to go to the games. Try to catch the same excitement as 2016.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Cubs fans historically bring large crowds to what they call Wrigley North in Milwaukee. Despite the Brewers effort to sell to local fans first, it&#8217;s often easier and less expensive for Cubs fans to get tickets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;You probably save 25-30% going up to Milwaukee,&#8221; fan Steve Buzil said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Cubs fans who don&#8217;t make the trip to Milwaukee can certainly watch the games at one of the many establishments in Wrigleyville.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Preparations were already underway early Friday at Wrigley Field as the ballpark and fans get ready for the dawn of a new chapter in Cubs baseball this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;It was electrifying,&#8221; Cubs fan Missi Snelling said. &#8220;It just so fun. Everyone was so excited.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Missi and Tim Snelling are season ticket holders enjoying a stroll around Wrigley Field before heading home to the Florida panhandle. They said getting to experience Thursday night&#8217;s win was one for the books.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;We come up like four, five times a year from Florida,&#8221; Tim Snelling said. &#8220;Enjoy coming to the games but being in a playoff game is amazing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Popping champagne, the Cubs celebrated their Wild Card victory over the San Diego Padres Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Emotional Cubs fans are living on cloud nine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The Cubs are now heading to the National League Division Series for the first time since 2017, getting ready to make the drive north to Milwaukee to take on the Brewers in Game 1 Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">A sense of calm has returned to Wrigleyville Friday morning, but the anticipation and excitement was still palpable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;Yesterday was all about getting the W,&#8221; Matt Beightol said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Wrigleyville&#8217;s Matt Beightol is a season ticket holder and says he&#8217;s got plenty of confidence the Cubs can crank out a W against the Brewers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">&#8220;I think the confidence was gained earlier this year when we won the season series against the Brewers,&#8221; Beightol said.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 WLS-TV.
