Mike McCord said in an email. The student was found to be in possession of marijuana, and was arrested and transported to the Arlington Police Department jail. <\/p>\n<p>Possession of marijuana of two ounces or less is a class B misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,000, up to 180 days in jail or both. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft of property<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 25, a student reported receiving fraudulent checks, McCord said. <\/p>\n<p>Theft of property valued between $100 and $750 is a class B misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,000, confinement in jail for up to 180 days or both. <\/p>\n<p>This case is still active.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disorderly conduct &#8211; noxious and unreasonable odor<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 25, officers investigated someone spraying pepper spray, McCord said. <\/p>\n<p>Disorderly conduct is a class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $500. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Sexual assault<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 27, a UTA-affiliated person reported a sexual assault, McCord said. <\/p>\n<p>Sexual assault is a second-degree felony punishable by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice between two and 20 years.
