From sweet pumpkin patches to scary haunted trails \u2013 San Diego is home to an assortment of fun Halloween activities for all ages. Here\u2019s a roundup of Halloween and fall events around town this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

LEGOLAND<\/strong><\/p>\n

LEGOLAND\u2019s annual Brick-or-Treat is back! Go trick-or-treating at Legoland, where the park also has festive shows, events and characters. For more information, go to legoland.com\/california<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

SeaWorld Spooktacular and Howl-o-Scream<\/strong><\/p>\n

SeaWorld offers a kid-friendly event and something more thrilling for adults. Spooktacular<\/a> includes interactive activities, trick-or-treating and an array of photo-worthy moments. The event runs every weekend and Oct. 31 through Nov. 2. For adults, expect the return of Howl-o-Scream<\/a>, where plenty of scary attractions will fill the theme park. If your screams leave you breathless, don\u2019t worry as the park will also serve cocktails, beer and spirits.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bates Nut Farm\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visitors can head to the North County farm to tour the pumpkin field and pick out a perfect gourd. For a small fee, also go for a ride on a tractor or a pony or visit the petting zoo. For a quarter, you can feed the farm\u2019s animals. The farm is open daily but charges $5 per car for parking on the weekends. For more information, go to batesnutfarm.biz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

HalGLOWeen <\/a>at the San Diego Zoo will offer Halloween-themed amusements, including ghoulish live music, acrobatic spider performers, and the opportunity to meet unique wildlife every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October. At the San Diego Zoo Safari Park\u2019s Autumn Festival<\/a>, guests can meet scarecrows, learn to line dance, and wander through a fun maze every Saturday and Sunday during the month. Pumpkin Stations\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Pumpkin Station is bringing back its annual event with locations in Del Mar, Mission Valley, Plaza Bonita and Rancho Bernardo. Each pumpkin station is unique with its own assortment of events, rides and activities. For more information, go to pumpkinstation.com\/<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mr. Jack O\u2019 Lanterns Pumpkin Patches<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pumpkin Palooza<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enjoy a pumpkin patch while watching the planes fly by from Palomar Airport with the Pumpkin Palooza Patch. The North County event has inflatables, games, rides and plenty of pumpkins to choose from. Goff Family Pumpkin Patch<\/p>\n

The Liberty Station patch offers \u201cseasonal displays everywhere you look\u201d for that Instagram-perfect shot and it\u2019s pet friendly too. On weekends, there\u2019s a beer truck and fresh pizza as well. Look for the pumpkins next to the Loma Club putting green inside the north entrance. Oma\u2019s Family Farm<\/p>\n

The Lakeside farm hosts special events all year long and it\u2019s a pumpkin patch in October. It includes a hay maze, petting zoo and hayride, and for kids, interactive games and activities. Fairmont Grand Del Mar<\/strong><\/p>\n

Birch Aquarium<\/strong><\/p>\n

Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego will host its Halloween Aglow<\/a>, an annual family-friendly celebration that includes trick-or-treating, dancing and more! The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 24 and, Oct. 25. Can\u2019t wait that long? Check out the Aquarium\u2019s skele-fun \u2014 a 12-foot-tall skeleton inside the\u00a0Giant Kelp Forest. Belmont Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

The theme park along the Pacific Ocean has an assortment of events planned for October. For starters, the park is offering free ride wristbands to children with the purchase of one adult wristband. While you\u2019re enjoying the rides, you can also go trick-or-treating every Sunday evening in October.\u00a0 Separately, Belmont Park is hosting a truck-or-treat car show and a BeerFest on Oct. 26. Carlsbad Strawberry Farm\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Carlsbad Strawberry Farm is open for Halloween fun this month. Visitors will be able to enjoy its pumpkin patch, tour its corn maze and even shoot apples through a cannonball! Balboa Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

Balboa Park is bringing back its eXperiment Maze and Haunted Trail with plenty of gory, creepy and scary attractions. The Haunted Trail is a longtime event and has been named one of the top haunted attractions in the country. For more information, go to hauntedtrail.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lakehouse Resort San Marcos<\/strong><\/p>\n

Take a Halloween staycation during the month of October with Lakehouse Resort in San Marcos. The resort offers a family Adventure Suite complete with bunk beds, a play area and plenty of space for just the parents. During October, the Adventure Suite will have seasonal touches like pumpkins and Halloween d\u00e9cor, designed to make family getaways extra memorable.
