He racked up nearly 40 points, bagging a goal and an assist, while also appearing to take over set pieces (7 corners, 2 free kicks) from Stach. Longstaff created 7 key passes on the day (only 3 from set plays), further highlighting his impact even without the goal contributions. The big question is whether this set-piece “robbery” was just a one-off or a sign of things to come. With Leeds’ favorable fixture list ahead, Longstaff is well worth a pickup if he’s indeed the new set-piece taker.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him

Amine Adli (Ros 10%)

Prospects: Adli earned his first start since joining Bournemouth from Leverkusen, slotting in on the right wing. An often starter under Xabi Alonso, the Moroccan picked up 8 ghost points in 60 minutes, contributing across the ghost point stat sheet. It’s unclear if the spot is his permanently, but if he impressed Iraola, another start could come next week when the Cherries face Fulham. If not, he’s a drop. Still, he’s worth a speculative add to see if he can rediscover the influence he once had during Leverkusen’s record-breaking 2023/24 season.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him

Santiago Bueno (Ros 3%)

Prospects: Since Wolves’ switch to a back four, the other Bueno has slotted into the RCB role. After keeping a clean sheet against Everton in the midweek cup, the Uruguayan followed up with a 26-point haul that included a goal, 4 tackles won, 3 interceptions, 4 clearances, and 4 aerials. Solid numbers across the board that bode well for his outlook, especially with Wolves’ favorable fixture list ahead. They were unlucky to concede and lose the clean sheet, so this setup, and Bueno at RCB, looks likely to stick for now. His only other start this season was a 7 point (with 3 goals against) performance vs Everton in August.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him

We’re here every week giving you our tips on the best Draft Premier League players to pick up…

[45
221,62,67,132,68
0":"post-278927","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-soccer","8":"tag-soccer","9":"tag-sports","10":"tag-united-states","11":"tag-unitedstates","12":"tag-us
["GET
