It\u2019s been weeks since a teenage girl\u2019s dismembered body was discovered stuffed inside a Tesla, but Los Angeles police still have not named any suspects. Many have suspected the owner of the vehicle, a singer who goes by<\/a> D4vd, is connected to the ongoing case. Now, he just hired a lawyer famous for defending one of the most notorious people in the industry.<\/p>\n

As we previously told you<\/a>, 15-year-old Celeste Rivas\u2019 dismembered body was found wrapped in plastic in D4vd\u2019s car in September, although he was in the middle of a world tour when the body was discovered. Police said he has been cooperative in their investigation. They did, however search a Los Angeles home that D4vd was renting, TMZ reporte<\/a>d. He was spotted moving out of the same house days later.<\/p>\n

The singer has faced much scrutiny since Rivas\u2019 body was discovered. After losing partnerships and receiving threats, D4vd hired Blair Berk, a criminal defense attorney who reputation proceeds him, according to the New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Berk previously defended folks like Kanye West, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Harvey Weinstein. The latter of whom was convicted of rape and sentenced to prison in 2023, the Guardian reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

The medical examiner determined Rivas\u2019 place of death was a \u201cvehicle,\u201d Fox 11 News reported<\/a>. She had previously been reported missing from her home before her body was discovered.<\/p>\n

The teenager was remembered by her family as a \u201cbeloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend,\u201d according to\u00a0GoFundMe.<\/a>\u00a0The fundraising campaign has raised more than $24,000\u00a0of a $28,000 goal. <\/p>\n

L.A. County Medical Examiner \u201cdeferred\u201d\u00a0Rivas\u2019 cause of death, announcing additional testing needs to be done, KTLA reported<\/a>. Investigators said her body was in D4vd\u2019s Tesla for several weeks.<\/p>\n

Photos and music videos of D4vd and Rivas together quickly began resurfacing online in light of her disappearance. The victim\u2019s mother told police her daughter had a boyfriend named \u201cDavid\u2013\u201d the same name as the singer D4vd. The singer has not made any statements in light of Rivas\u2019 discovery. However, D4vd canceled the remaining dates on his world tour.<\/p>\n
