The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said: \u201cAs a precaution, one of our officers was also transported to hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n
Officials added Josh, his driver and the officer were all assessed for minor injuries by medical staff. Both vehicles were said to have been \u201csignificantly damaged\u201d in the collision.<\/p>\n
Investigators have appealed for witnesses and for anyone with video of the incident to come forward.<\/p>\n
Josh had been returning from work on a Netflix production that has yet to be formally titled.<\/p>\n
The project \u2013 referred to locally as the \u201cuntitled Netflix Newfoundland series\u201d \u2013 features a cast including Mackenzie Davis, Darrin Baker, Charlie Heaton, Tanchay Redvers, Joshua Close, Rohan Campbell, Ruby Stokes, Kaleb Horn, Willow Kean and Natasha Henstridge.<\/p>\n
In an Instagram post announcing the series, Netflix described the plot as following \u201ca hard-bitten fisherman discovers that his hometown is being terrorized by a mysterious creature\u201d and showed a picture of Josh taking a selfie with some of the cast.<\/p>\n
