In the next couple of days, the brass of the Detroit Red Wings will be making final roster decisions.<\/p>\n
Some may even suggest that these are going to be hard decisions to make.<\/p>\n
The thing is, they don\u2019t have to be hard choices at all.<\/p>\n
In fact, we\u2019ll make it easy for all involved, because at this stage, there appears to be only one logical conclusion that can be reached.<\/p>\n

It isn\u2019t a question of which among Michael Brandesgg-Nygard, Axel Sandin Pellikka, and Emmitt Finnie should make Detroit\u2019s 23-player roster.<\/p>\n
They all should.<\/p>\n
In the final curtain call before the NHL regular season, Brandsegg-Nygard scored twice and Sandin Pellikka dished out two assists in a 6-5 Red Wings overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.<\/p>\n
Finnie didn\u2019t figure in the scoring but also enjoyed another solid performance.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m really happy with all three of the kids,\u201d Red Wings coach Todd McLellan said. \u201cWe may as well bundle them all up and put them in a package.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019ve all competed from day one till now. They\u2019ve all improved. Their confidence level has gone up.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bottom line? They\u2019ve all done enough to earn a place on the team.<\/p>\n
All that\u2019s left is for the Red Wings to make it official.<\/p>\n

McLellan spoke of the freshness and energy that the youngsters are injecting into the team\u2019s dressing room and bench.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe group has been very accepting of them,\u201d McLellan said. \u201cThey believe that the three of them can help the group, which is always a good sign.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd they\u2019ve opened up some eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n
