\n\tKristi Noem<\/a>, the secretary of homeland security, confirmed what President Trump\u2019s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said earlier<\/a> in the week: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will be attending the Super Bowl<\/a> on Feb. 8. The event will feature Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny<\/a> as the halftime show headliner.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a recent The Benny Show video<\/a>, Noem told right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson that ICE will be \u201call over\u201d the 2026 Super Bowl.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have the responsibility for making sure everybody goes to the Super Bowl, has the opportunity to enjoy it and to leave, and that\u2019s what America\u2019s about,\u201d Noem said in the clip. \u201cSo yeah, we\u2019ll be all over that place. We\u2019re going to enforce the law.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tNoem continued: \u201cSo, I think people should not be coming to the Super Bowl unless they\u2019re law-abiding Americans who love this country.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen asked if she had \u201cany message to the NFL\u201d regarding the organization naming Bad Bunny as its Super Bowl halftime performer, Noem said, \u201cWell, they suck and we\u2019ll win, and God will bless us and we\u2019ll stand and be proud of ourselves at the end of the day, and they won\u2019t be able to sleep at night because they don\u2019t know what they believe. And they\u2019re so weak, we\u2019ll fix it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier in the week, Lewandowski spoke to Johnson as well. He told the podcaster when asked if ICE would be at the big game, \u201cThere is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else,\u201d Lewandowski said<\/a>. \u201cWe will find you, we will apprehend you, we will put you in a detention facility, and we will deport you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOthers in the president\u2019s MAGA base also unsurprisingly had meltdowns<\/a> when it was announced the Puerto Rican superstar would headline the Super Bowl halftime show.<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore Bad Bunny was revealed as the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show star, the musician told i-D<\/a> why his upcoming\u00a0Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos\u00a0<\/a>world tour<\/a> does not include dates in the continental United States. The artist said the\u00a0Trump administration<\/a>\u2019s recent mass\u00a0deportations<\/a>\u00a0targeting Latinos informed the decision.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere were many reasons why I didn\u2019t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate \u2014 I\u2019ve performed there many times,\u201d Bad Bunny said. \u201cAll of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer, a vocal critic of Trump\u2019s agenda, added: \u201cBut there was the issue of \u2014 like, fucking\u00a0ICE<\/a>\u00a0could be outside [my concert]. And it\u2019s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.\u201d<\/p>\n
