{"id":279874,"date":"2025-10-05T16:32:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-05T16:32:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/279874\/"},"modified":"2025-10-05T16:32:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-05T16:32:10","slug":"suspected-intoxicated-driver-crashes-into-concrete-pillar-on-west-side-juvenile-passenger-injured","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/279874\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspected intoxicated driver crashes into concrete pillar on West Side, juvenile passenger injured"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Crash happened early Sunday morning in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 90 West near Hunt Lane<\/p>\n<p>Police Lights on top of car (KPRC2\/Click2Houston.com)<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>SAN ANTONIO<\/strong> \u2013 A suspected intoxicated driver crashed into a concrete pillar on U.S. Highway 90 on the West Side, seriously injuring a juvenile passenger, according to San Antonio police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The crash happened just after 2 a.m. Sunday in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 90 West near Hunt Lane.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Police said the driver was exiting the main lanes when he lost control on the right side of the access road and crashed head-on into a concrete pillar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The juvenile passenger, who was in the front seat, suffered serious bodily injuries, SAPD said.
