A woman has been arrested and faces a murder charge following the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n

Jenny Rosales died from a gunshot wound to the chest at about 4:40 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of a seafood restaurant in the 5100 block of Wichita Street, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Laterica Johnson, 47, has been arrested in connection to the shooting, according to Fort Worth police jail records.<\/p>\n

After responding to the restaurant, officers learned from witnesses the victim and her suspected shooter had been involved in a minor vehicle accident, according to a news release from police.<\/p>\n

They were attempting to exchange car insurance when witnesses saw one of the women pull out a handgun, point it at several people near the restaurant and attempted to leave without providing her insurance information, police said.<\/p>\n

The woman then shot the 18-year-old and killed her, according to police.<\/p>\n

The woman, later identified as Johnson following her arrest, left the scene, but called police and waited for them to arrive at her location.<\/p>\n

The gun used in the shooting was found in the suspects vehicle, police said.<\/p>\n

The shooting may have been gang related, according to police. No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
