Our brilliant City Council \u201caims to help seniors, people with limited internet access and shoppers who do not read online coupons due to language barriers\u201d by banning digital coupons. Aren\u2019t these shoppers the same citizens who have to navigate the digital pay parking that blankets neighborhoods like Hillcrest, North Park and soon-to-be Balboa Park?<\/p>\n<p>Can anyone (senior or not) even find a kiosk, read the illegible instructions, download the app, scan the QR code, just in order to shop or enjoy the park?<\/p>\n<p>Doesn\u2019t anyone else see this as yet another example of City Hall insanity?<\/p>\n<p>Seems to me that digital coupons are the least of our problems!<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Donna Deane, Mission Hills<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Re \u201cSan Diego\u2019s ban on digital-only coupons begins\u201d (Oct. 1): So let me get this straight.
