Say goodbye to Pamela Anderson<\/a>\u2019s blonde hair.<\/p>\n In a shocking twist, The <\/a>Last Showgirl<\/a> star traded her platinum shade for a coppery red this week, courtesy of Parisian hairstylist John Nollet<\/a>. According to a report<\/a>, this particular look was inspired by the hairdos of Swedish film stars Gunnel Lindblom and Bibi Anderson, which is apparent when you take in Anderson\u2019s new shaggy \u2019do, with bangs and shoulder-length tresses.<\/p>\n The actor debuted the look in Paris, where she wore a glamorous cream dress from One Of<\/a>, which was styled by Bailey Moon and featured a boat neckline, cap sleeves, and long stoles hanging down the back. This wasn\u2019t just a personal transformation, but a professional choice as well, as Anderson is gearing up to play her next major role in Michael Cera\u2019s directorial debut: Love Is Not the Answer.<\/p>\n The film will serve as an adaptation of Scott Mackey\u2019s political novel of the same name<\/a>, about a woman who finds herself becoming the frontrunner in the race to be president, after she preaches kindness and love. However, things get complicated when her platform eventually leads to an all-out \u201cwar on love.\u201d<\/p>\n Cera\u2019s film will also star Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey), Steve Coogan (Philomena), and Fred Hechinger (Thelma), and it\u2019s just the latest in a string of film projects for Anderson, whose action comedy The Naked Gun arrived in theaters this past summer, while her Karim A\u00efnouz-directed drama Rosebush Pruning is currently in post-production.<\/p>\n Throughout her career, Anderson has been known for her signature blonde locks.<\/p>\n Back in August, Anderson spoke with <\/a>Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a> about her beauty routine and, specifically, her approach to haircare. \u201cYour hair is another way to express yourself, and I\u2019ve never been shy,\u201d the Golden Globe nominee said. \u201cI guess I\u2019m genetically blessed, but I\u2019ve always had very thick, healthy hair. I do like to cut it and to style it differently. It\u2019s freeing. I am a big lover of change; that\u2019s what keeps us young and excited.\u201d<\/p>\n
