One person was killed and five people were injured after a shooting at a nightclub in the West 7th Entertainment District in Fort Worth late Saturday night, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers were called to the 3000 block of Bledsoe St. around 1:40 a.m., according to a press release from Fort Worth PD. When they arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his torso, and medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Police also found five additional shooting victims who were transported to local hospitals for treatment. All of them appear to be in stable condition, police said. <\/p>\n
No suspects are in custody at this time. Police said the unknown suspects fired handguns inside of a business in what appears to be an “unprovoked shooting.” The suspects reportedly fled the scene on foot after the shooting. <\/p>\n
Fort Worth police said the investigation is still preliminary, but it appears to be gang-related.<\/p>\n
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Patrique Allen, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office.<\/p>\n
