SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A man was fatally shot on Sunday night in what police say was a dispute over a stolen TV on the city’s West Side. <\/p>\n
Emergency crews responded just before 9 p.m. to the 5900 block of West Cesar Chavez Boulevard near SW 36th Street. <\/p>\n
Police on scene said they were called to the same location earlier in the day for reports of a stolen TV. A man reported that his TV was stolen from his front porch.<\/p>\n
About 45 minutes later, officers received reports of a man down and upon arrival, found a male victim in his 30s-40s lying in front of the home with two gunshot wounds. <\/p>\n
Police said the victim shot was suspected in the TV theft and it appears the suspected shooter came outside of the home and shot the man. <\/p>\n
He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the San Antonio Fire Department.<\/p>\n
Police have detained a male in his 20s for questioning.
