While Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2019s latest cinematic release opened to huge numbers for a limited-run event, Leonardo DiCaprio\u2019s action comedy continued its steady climb past major revenue milestones in its second weekend.<\/p>\n

The 90-minute film, released alongside her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, earned $33 million in the United States and $13 million across 54 international territories. The surprise release, distributed through AMC Theatres rather than a traditional studio, marked Swift\u2019s second collaboration with the chain following 2023\u2019s Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which grossed<\/a> $261 million worldwide.<\/p>\n

AMC\u2019s CEO Adam Aron said, \u201cIt was simply a wonderful gift to her passionate and enthusiastic fans, who got to see, on our giant screens, behind-the-scenes footage and insight into The Life of a Showgirl.\u201d He added that AMC was \u201cso proud to have collaborated with Taylor,\u201d describing the partnership as \u201can honor and privilege.\u201d (via Variety<\/a>)<\/p>\n

The three-day limited engagement also included the premiere of Swift\u2019s music video for \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia,\u201d lyric videos, and personal reflections from the artist.<\/p>\n

In other box-office results, Leonardo DiCaprio\u2019s One Battle After Another crossed $100 million globally in its second weekend. The Warner Bros. film, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, earned $58.9 million overseas and $101.7 million total, becoming Anderson\u2019s highest-grossing release to date. The film, which cost over $130 million to produce, saw only a 17 percent decline internationally from its debut, compared with a 53 percent domestic drop.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. continued its strong 2025 performance with The Conjuring: Last Rites, which reached $458.2 million worldwide. Disney also re-released Avatar: The Way of Water, earning $10 million globally as promotion for December\u2019s upcoming sequel, Avatar: Fire and Ash.<\/p>\n
