Temperatures climb to near-record levels over the next several days, with highs landing between 92 and 94 degrees through midweek. <\/p>\n
Record highs for these dates have stood at 94, 95, and 96 degrees since 1928, 1956, and 1962. While it\u2019s not expected that Houston will break any records, it\u2019s shaping up to be remarkably warm, even for early fall. <\/p>\n
Mornings aren\u2019t offering much relief either, starting in the lower to mid-70s. <\/p>\n

If you\u2019re hoping for a downpour or even a decent shower, the odds aren\u2019t in your favor this week. <\/p>\n
I\u2019m going with a 10 to 20 percent chance for showers each day through Wednesday. Any rain that does pop up is expected to be quick and isolated, with the best chance found toward the southwest part of the area. It\u2019s not a high chance, but it\u2019s there, so you\u2019re not surprised. <\/p>\n
