\n\tJust after the 30th anniversary of the band\u2019s 1995 self-titled debut album<\/a>, Foo Fighters<\/a> have unveiled a fierce cover of Minor Threat<\/a>\u2018s hardcore classic \u201cI Don\u2019t Wanna Hear It\u201d \u2014 with vocals recorded this year over an instrumental track that dates to \u201995. The release appears to be part of a larger celebration of the debut, with the band promoting anniversary content under the hashtag #FF30 and revisiting their career history on a Substack<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe cover reflects Grohl\u2019s deep connection to Washington D.C.\u2019s hardcore punk scene. Before Nirvana, Grohl played drums for Scream, a hardcore band signed to Dischord Records, founded by Minor Threat\u2019s Ian MacKaye.
