It’s suggested the Rockstar open world game will be enhanced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Since the developer likes to share news on its own terms, rather than during livestreams, there’s still a chance the ports could release this year. For example, the PS4 version of Red Dead Redemption<\/strong> was announced<\/a> on 7th August 2023 in social media posts, and then it launched just 10 days later. GTA 6<\/a> trailers also drop out of nowhere.<\/p>\n

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been playable on PS5 this entire time via backwards compatibility, but the PS4 version is restricted to 30 frames-per-second, and runs at a lower resolution than the Xbox One version when played on an Xbox Series X.<\/p>\n

Given the track record NateTheHate has developed over the years, there’s little reason to doubt his claims. It’s possible for Rockstar to turn around a Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS5 announcement and full release within a matter of days, which would make the wait for GTA 6 a little easier.<\/p>\n
