{"id":281987,"date":"2025-10-06T15:43:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T15:43:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/281987\/"},"modified":"2025-10-06T15:43:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T15:43:12","slug":"child-killed-in-hit-and-run-collision-on-i-10-in-phoenix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/281987\/","title":{"rendered":"Child killed in hit-and-run collision on I-10 in Phoenix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX \u2013 A child was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Interstate 10 in west Phoenix on Sunday night, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>The two-vehicle crash occurred around 7:45 p.m. on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ArizonaDOT\/status\/1975032141219078475\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">eastbound I-10 near 75th Avenue<\/a>, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. <a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-traffic\/interstate-10-phoenix-crash\/5758239\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The freeway was closed<\/a> for hours while the scene was under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>A car carrying five people crashed into a concrete median wall after getting hit by a pickup truck, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS).<\/p>\n<p>Two children who were in the car were injured in the crash.
