Fans love deciphering Taylor Swift\u2019s every movie for clues and hints to her future work, but sometimes they get it very, very wrong.<\/p>\n
The \u201cLife of a Showgirl\u201d singer appeared on BBC Radio 2\u2019s \u201cThe Scott Mills Breakfast Show,\u201d Scott asked the singer point blank, \u201cTaylor, don’t tell me this is your last album?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat? No?\u201d Taylor responded in confusion.<\/p>\n
Scott explained, \u201cI just saw some fans going, \u2018Well, she’s going to get married and then she’s going to have children and then she’s going to be the last album.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
She laughed it off, saying it\u2019s \u201ca shockingly offensive thing to say.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt’s not why people get married,\u201d she continued. \u201cSo that they can quit their job. It’s also like music for me is\u201d<\/p>\n
Scott interjected that fans were just \u201cpanicking\u201d at the thought.<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, I know they love to panic sometimes, but it’s like I love the person that I am with because he loves what I do and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music,\u201d she said of fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cThat’s the coolest thing about Trav, like he’s so, he is so passionate about what he does, that me being passionate about what I do, it connects us. There’s no point in time where he’s gonna be like, \u2018I’m really upset that you’re still making the music. The music thing that I signed up for that I knew you love, I thought you were gonna stop doing that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Taylor noted it\u2019s \u201cthe most fun thing in the world to be able to support each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
“We both, as a living, as a job, as a passion, perform for three and a half hours in NFL stadiums,\u201d the \u201cFate of Ophelia\u201d singer said. \u2018We both do three and a half hour shows to entertain people. When I’m in those stadiums, it’s a dressing room, but when he’s in those exact same stadiums, it’s a locker room.\u201d<\/p>\n
Taylor continued, “For him, it’s practice. For me, it’s rehearsal. For him, it’s a game. For me, it’s a show. We just call them different things. It’s a very similar thing. We both have teams. And we’re both competitive, like in fun ways, not in ways that eat away at us, but just like we just love it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple announced their engagement on August 26.<\/p>\n
