However, the two reached a mutual decision to tour again with the blessing of Peart\u2019s family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>German drummer Anika Nilles will step into Peart\u2019s sizable shoes. She first made a splash online in the early \u201910s and has put together a solid resume touring with Jeff Beck and releasing solo albums with Nevell following her breakout.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026life is full of surprises, and we\u2019ve\u2026been introduced to another remarkable person; an incredible drummer and musician who is adding another chapter to our story while continuing her own fascinating musical journey,\u201d Lee, 72, shared. \u201cHer name is Anika Nilles, and we could not be more excited to introduce her to our loyal and dedicated RUSH fanbase, whom, we know, will give her every chance to live up to that near impossible role.
