LOS ANGELES (KABC) — For the first time, members of the public are getting a chance to go inside the remodeled “Brady Bunch” house.<\/p>\n
While the majority of the hit sitcom was shot on the Paramount lot, the San Fernando Valley<\/a> home served as the facade for the show, which first aired in 1969.<\/p>\n In 2019, however, HGTV renovated the inside of the house to match the set, turning it into the home viewers fell in love with on their screens.<\/p>\n RELATED: ‘Brady Bunch’ house in Studio City sells for $3.2 million<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n “I feel like I’m walking into my childhood,” said Alison Martino, a historian and founder of Vintage Los Angeles<\/a>.<\/p>\n Martino will be guiding tours for a three-day charitable event hosted by The Brady Experience. All proceeds from the tours’ ticket sales will go to the pet adoption nonprofit Wags and Walks<\/a> to help rescue dogs find their forever homes.<\/p>\n The inside of the renovated home looks identical to what viewers saw on “The Brady Bunch,” down to Easter eggs from beloved episodes.<\/p>\n “Your brain is going to explode because everything’s real. There’s no AI here. This is the real deal,” said Martino.<\/p>\n Walking through the home, you may notice the girls’ pompoms, the problem-solving payphone or the epic battle of the house of cards. You also might see Buddy, the official Brady house dog.<\/p>\n The Brady Bunch house is technically Buddy’s forever home — he was adopted from Wags and Walks by the current owner of the Brady house.<\/p>\n
