(Photo By Lea Suzuki\/The San Francisco Chro <\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\"><strong>NEW YORK<\/strong> &#8211; A treasure hunt is coming to <a href=\"https:\/\/fox5ny.com\/tag\/us\/ny\/nyc\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">New York City<\/a> next week, and participants could win <a href=\"https:\/\/fox5ny.com\/tag\/money\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">rare coins<\/a> and banknotes worth up to thousands of dollars.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WNYW\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The hunt goes from Oct. 14 to Oct. 18. Each day, rare coin dealer Stack&#8217;s Bowers will hide a certificate for a rare coin or banknote in one of &#8220;five iconic locations&#8221; around the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Each morning, the company will post a clue on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stacksbowers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media accounts<\/a>, directing you to the location of the certificate. The first to find the certificate can bring it in to collect their prize.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WNYW\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Why you should care:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The value of the prizes will range in value from around $300 to a grand prize of $3,500. The daily winner can either opt to exchange the certificate for the prize, or sell the prize back to the gallery for cash.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The grand prize is a $20 gold coin from 1924, valued at approximately $3,500. The first hunt started Tuesday in Boston.
