The Bengals also released QB Brett Rypien.<\/p>\n<p>Flacco (6-6, 245), an 18th-year player out of the University of Delaware, originally was a first-round draft pick of Baltimore in 2008. He has played in 200 career regular-season games with 195 starts for the Ravens (2008-&#8217;18), Denver Broncos (&#8217;19), N.Y. Jets (&#8217;20-21), Cleveland Browns (&#8217;23, &#8217;25), and Indianapolis Colts (&#8217;24). His career totals include 4259 completions on 6911 attempts for 46,512 yards, 259 TDs and 168 INTs. He also has 392 rushing attempts for 903 yards and 16 TDs.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Flacco has played and started 16 postseason games, completing 287 of 493 passes for 3530 yards, 26 TDs and 12 INTs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Joe is an experienced quarterback with a history of winning,&#8221; said Bengals head coach <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bengals.com\/team\/coaches-roster\/zac-taylor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zac Taylor<\/a>. &#8220;He is a leader with a skill set that will fit our personnel well. He is a gifted passer with a strong arm, and we are excited to have him on our team.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rypien, a sixth-year player, spent the past three games on the Bengals&#8217; active roster.
