\n\tDolly Parton<\/a> has been facing some \u201chealth challenges,\u201d and her sister, Freida Parton, has asked for prayers for the country star.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Dolly Parton postponed her Las Vegas residency in September, her sister Freida took to social media to ask her fans to pray for her.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLast night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn\u2019t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been lead to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me,\u201d Freida shared on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was on September 28 that a statement on Dolly Parton\u2019s social media accounts announced she would have to postpone her residency at the Colosseum Theaters at Caesar\u2019s Palace<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,\u201d read the statement on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cAs many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it\u2019s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe continued, \u201cIn all seriousness, given this, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see. You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you. While I\u2019ll still be able to work on all of my projects from here in Nashville, I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tParton assured fans that she was not ready to leave show business, adding, \u201cAnd don\u2019t worry about me quittin\u2019 the business because God hasn\u2019t said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you. I love you and thank you for understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n
