\n\tHuntr\/x took over Jimmy Fallon\u2019s \u201cThe Tonight Show,\u201d with the singing stars of Netflix\u2019s smash \u201cKPop Demon Hunters<\/a>\u201d making their late-night debut Tuesday for their first full live performance of the chart-topping single \u201cGolden.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tEJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami sing for the roles of Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong) and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo), respectively, in \u201cKPop Demon Hunters.\u201d The animated film was released on June 20, and by late August, it was the streamer\u2019s most-watched movie of all time<\/a>, beating the previous title holder, \u201cRed Notice,\u201d with 236 million views. Directed by Chris Appelhans and Maggie Kang, the film follows a K-pop supergroup who must balance their lives as world-famous pop stars with their secret side hustle as demon slayers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn their sit-down interview with Fallon, the late-night host broke news<\/a> to the trio that the film\u2019s soundtrack had gone platinum, referencing the most recent Billboard 200 albums chart<\/a>. \u201cThe KPop Demon Hunters\u201d soundtrack logged a second non-consecutive week at No. 1 in the latest tracking week. Of the 102,000 equivalent album units earned in the latest tracking week, the record accumulated 117 million on-demand official streams.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn September, \u201cGolden\u201d made history<\/a> by leading the Hot 100 for a fifth consecutive week, making it the longest-running No. 1 song by an animated act in the chart\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

\n\tAdditionally, the \u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d soundtrack has notched four total tracks on the Hot 100\u2019s top ten. Outside of \u201cGolden,\u201d fan favorite tracks \u201cYour Idol,\u201d \u201cSoda Pop,\u201d and \u201cHow It\u2019s Done\u201d reached No. 4, No. 5, and No. 8, respectively.<\/p>\n
