Two girls die performing dangerous viral stunt in New York City; bodies found on top of train\" title=\"Image: X@\/Licon_7 \" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/> New York City police have identified two girls who died early Saturday morning in a tragic \u201csubway surfing\u201d incident.Last week, a 12-year-old girl reportedly snuck out of her home to meet her 13-year-old friend, and both lost their lives while riding atop a subway train, authorities said.Police responded to a 911 call at Brooklyn\u2019s Marcy Avenue and Broadway subway station on October 4 around 3.10 am (local time), the New York City Police Department (NYPD), as cited by PEOPLE.\u201cUpon arrival, officers observed two unidentified females, unconscious and unresponsive,\u201d the statement read.The footage showed a 12-year-old Zemfira Mukhtarov walking along a beam above the tracks as an oncoming train sped beneath her. Mukhtarov was found dead on top of a J train in Brooklyn on October 4, alongside 13-year-old Ebba Morina from Manhattan.Morina\u2019s social media account showed her climbing the Brooklyn Bridge and exploring empty subway stations with friends.
