{"id":28653,"date":"2025-07-01T02:02:11","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T02:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/28653\/"},"modified":"2025-07-01T02:02:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T02:02:11","slug":"asia-stock-markets-today-live-updates-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/28653\/","title":{"rendered":"Asia stock markets today: live updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Shanghai Bund skyline panorama<\/p>\n<p>Yangna | E+ | Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Asia-Pacific markets traded mixed Tuesday as investors assessed the record gains on Wall Street and the global impact of U.S. President Donald Trump&#8217;s tariff policies as his\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/04\/09\/trump-announces-90-day-tariff-pause-for-at-least-some-countries.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">90-day tariff reprieve<\/a>\u00a0is set to expire next week.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Monday that there are &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/06\/29\/stock-market-today-live-updateshtml.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">countries that are negotiating in good faith<\/a>.&#8221; However, he added that tariffs could still &#8220;spring back&#8221; to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/04\/02\/trump-reciprocal-tariffs-countries-chart-imports-united-states.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">levels announced on April 2<\/a> &#8220;if we can&#8217;t get across the line because they are being recalcitrant.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mainland China&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CSI 300<\/a> started the day 0.16% lower.
