{"id":287155,"date":"2025-10-08T18:16:17","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T18:16:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/287155\/"},"modified":"2025-10-08T18:16:17","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T18:16:17","slug":"verisilicons-quarterly-revenue-doubles-on-surging-ai-demand-self-sufficiency-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/287155\/","title":{"rendered":"VeriSilicon\u2019s quarterly revenue doubles on surging AI demand, self-sufficiency drive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Chinese chip designer VeriSilicon reported that its quarterly revenue more than doubled to reach a record high, as strong demand for artificial intelligence computing and Beijing\u2019s semiconductor self-sufficiency drive boosted prospects for domestic firms.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Third-quarter revenue reached 1.28 billion yuan (US$179.7 million), up nearly 120 per cent from the previous quarter and 78.77 per cent higher than the same period last year, the Shanghai-based company said in preliminary results published on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The firm\u2019s strong growth was driven by orders related to AI computing, which accounted for 65 per cent of new orders in the third quarter, VeriSilicon said. New order volume for the period rose 145.8 per cent year on year to nearly 1.6 billion yuan.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">VeriSilicon also expected its quarterly losses to \u201csignificantly narrow\u201d, the company said.
