{"id":287387,"date":"2025-10-08T20:21:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T20:21:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/287387\/"},"modified":"2025-10-08T20:21:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T20:21:09","slug":"rhyne-howard-chosen-to-wnba-all-defensive-second-team-uk-athletics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/287387\/","title":{"rendered":"Rhyne Howard Chosen to WNBA All-Defensive Second Team \u2013 UK Athletics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LEXINGTON, Ky. \u2013 University of Kentucky women\u2019s basketball alumna and Atlanta Dream All-Star Rhyne Howard has been named to the WNBA All-Defensive Second Team, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The Wildcat led her team and ranked 10th in the league in steals (1.6) last season, logging 16 games with multiple steals in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Howard also ranked third on her team \u2013 and first among guards \u2013 in blocked shots (0.8). She had a career-high six blocks against the Dallas Wings on Aug. 29, while also draining six 3s, recording five assists and grabbing four rebounds in that game.
