New York City Mayor Eric Adams is agreeing with rapper and actor 50 Cent<\/a> that New York City Democratic socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani\u2019s economic proposals should be in \u201cFantasyland.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHey @50cent, make it a one-way ticket to Fantasyland, he\u2019ll fit right in,\u201d Adams said in a Monday X post that included a screenshot of what appears to be a since-deleted post from 50 Cent where the rapper challenged Mamdani\u2019s policy ideas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the only place rent is optional, vibes are currency, and your parents still cover your deductible,\u201d Adams added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adams, who\u00a0was elected as a Democrat in 2021<\/a> but recently announced he would\u00a0run as an independent\u00a0this year following\u00a0low approval ratings\u00a0and federal corruption charges that have since been dropped, has said there is \u201cno dignity\u201d in socialism.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

We\u2019re talking about people who make a million dollars a year or more, taxing them just by a flat 2% tax increase.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mamdani also mentioned 50 Cent by name, saying, \u201cI know if 50 Cent is listening, he\u2019s not going to be happy about this. He tends to not like this tax policy, but I want to be very clear this is about $20,000 a year. It\u2019s a rounding error. And all of these things together, they make every New Yorker\u2019s life better, including those who are actually getting taxed now.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not feeling this plan,\u201d 50 Cent said in what appears to be a since-deleted post. \u201cNo. I will give him $258,750 and a first class one-way ticket away from NY. I\u2019m telling Trump what he said too!\u201d\u00a0the rapper wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital\u00a0reached out to both 50 Cent and Mamdani for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.\u00a0<\/p>\n
