Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli and Thierry Henry may have a hilariously awkward encounter when they meet next.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Frenchman is one of the greatest players of all time, and many attackers today, especially those at Arsenal<\/a>, look up to him.<\/p>\n

Bukayo Saka and Henry often send each other messages<\/a>, and we won\u2019t be surprised at all if the latter shares similar relationships with other players at the club as well. <\/p>\n

If Martinelli is one of them, their next meeting could include a funny conversation. <\/p>\n

Gabriel Martinelli<\/a> is one of Arsenal\u2019s funniest players.<\/p>\n

The Brazil international joined the Gunners from Ituano when he was just 18 years old. He impressed in his debut season and became a fan favourite at the Emirates<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Martinelli has had a couple of difficult seasons in the famous red and white, but he has shown signs of his previous self in recent games. <\/p>\n

Recently, the attacker sat down for a segment on Sky Sports. A few scenarios were put in front of him, and he was asked to give it either a yellow card, a red card or say play on.<\/p>\n

One of the scenarios was players wearing gloves while donning a half-sleeve shirt. <\/p>\n

Martinelli said before bursting out with laughter: \u201cYou mean without the long sleeves? That one is just to show off.\u201d<\/p>\n

The presenter, Joe Thomlinson, reminded him that Thierry Henry<\/a> used to do it.<\/p>\n

Martinelli quickly changed his mind and replied, \u201cNo, it\u2019s really good then,\u201d before laughing again.<\/p>\n

Arsenal fans used to criticise Thierry Henry for his long socks and gloves<\/p>\n

Henry made long socks and gloves iconic during his early years at Arsenal. <\/p>\n

Many young players today try to copy the legendary Frenchman, but when Henry first did it, he received no love from the Highbury faithful.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I arrived in England and I had my socks over my knees, I used to get hammered,\u201d Henry said, as per Football London<\/a>.<\/p>\n
