{"id":288251,"date":"2025-10-09T03:48:15","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T03:48:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/288251\/"},"modified":"2025-10-09T03:48:15","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T03:48:15","slug":"explosive-device-found-at-port-of-long-beach-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/288251\/","title":{"rendered":"Explosive device found at Port of Long Beach \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Los Angeles Sheriff\u2019s Department Bomb Squad was investigating an explosive device Wednesday discovered at a container terminal in the Port of Long Beach.<\/p>\n<p>The device was found in the ground during construction work and is believed to be a possible World War II-era explosive, according to a Port of Long Beach spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>A safety perimeter was established and cargo operations at the terminal were halted.<\/p>\n<p>A U.S. Marine Corps unit was called in to assist with the bomb squad investigation.
