Smith says in that era soft drink companies marketed their products as healthy refreshments for the whole family.<\/p>\n
There’s another detail on this mural, the famous “10, 2, and 4” campaign.<\/p>\n
“So in the 1920s, there was a study done that noticed that people’s blood sugar levels dropped at 10:30, 2:30 and 4:30, so Dr Pepper asked their advertising company to come up with a way to use this particular idea.”<\/p>\n
The museum has its own vintage mural on display that goes back to the 30’s and 40’s.
