Happy Thursday, <\/strong><\/p>\n

When I moved to Fort Worth three years ago, one of the first events I had the pleasure of experiencing was ArtsGoggle on Magnolia Avenue in the Near Southside.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I was blown away by the hundreds of artists showcasing their works, from paintings to haikus to ceramics. I felt such a deep sense of community that the event quickly became a must every fall.\u00a0<\/p>\n

ArtsGoggle <\/strong>makes its big return this Saturday<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>with more than 1,000 artists across 21 blocks and 50 locally owned and operated food and drink vendors serving up grub.\u00a0<\/p>\n

My biggest word of advice: Make sure to wear walking shoes. I learned the hard way my first time around that Doc Martens were not the smartest choice in footwear.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The alternative folk band is performing hits from their discography as well as songs from their new album \u201cAutomatic.\u201d Their Panther City show will be opened by singer Chance Pe\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Fall into nature for annual environmental fundraiser<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Held every autumn, the family-friendly event offers a pumpkin patch, bounce houses and educational activities. Proceeds from the festival support the River Legacy Foundation\u2019s environmental programs. <\/p>\n

When: <\/strong>10 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 11<\/p>\n

Acclaimed figure painter stops in Fort Worth for first major museum exhibition<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The Modern brings together 50 works created by Jenny Saville over three decades. The artist is known for her charcoal and oil portraits of the human body. The exhibition contains mature subjects and nudity.<\/p>\n

What:<\/strong> \u201cJenny Saville: The Anatomy of Painting\u201d<\/p>\n

When: <\/strong>10 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 12; on view through Jan. 18<\/p>\n

Where:<\/strong> Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, 3200 Darnell St., Fort Worth<\/p>\n

Sip on your favorite drink at outdoor celebration<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Since its inception in 2016, the Michelada Festival has celebrated food, music and heritage in downtown Fort Worth. Through its nonprofit, Connect Respect, the festival raises funds to award scholarships to Fort Worth ISD graduates.<\/p>\n
