A moments fans in OKC have been waiting on since the championship parade is finally here. Thursday\u2019s Thunder game offers fans their first in-person look at the reigning NBA champions. The Oklahoma City Thunder (1-1) continue their preseason slate Thursday night with their first home game against the Charlotte Hornets (0-1).<\/p>\n

    Thunder Preseason Results<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Oklahoma City is coming off a 106-89 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday in Fort Worth. Rookie Brooks Barnhizer led OKC with 16 points, while Dallas rookie Cooper Flagg impressed in his NBA debut.<\/p>\n

    Head coach Mark Daigneault used a deep rotation again as the Thunder continued to emphasize development and rhythm over results early in the preseason.<\/p>\n

    When the two teams met Sunday in North Charleston, South Carolina, the Thunder cruised to a 135-114 victory behind balanced scoring and impressive offensive flow.<\/p>\n

    With most of the main rotation resting, <\/strong>Usman Jang, Aaron Wiggins, and Jaylin Williams led the way. Williams was particularly sharp, knocking down five three-pointers, while rookie Nikola Topi\u0107 logged meaningful minutes in his first NBA action.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThose guys went out there and played,\u201d Daigneault said after that game. \u201cThe ball moved really well and we got into a nice rhythm. It was a good starting point for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Wiggins echoed that sentiment, saying the team focused on growth and chemistry.<\/p>\n
