As a market editor, I look at dozens of outfits a day, carefully analyzing each one to understand what makes me like (or not like) the look. It often comes down to styling: the sharpness of a heel, the messiness of one\u2019s hair, or the layering of multiple shirts. It\u2019s the details that matter. After looking at Fashion Week looks from New York, Paris, and Milan, here are my favorites:<\/p>\n

A simple little tank with oversize athletic shorts, flip-flops, and sporty sunnies keeps the look casual. It would make sense on an island, but it also works for the city streets.<\/p>\n

This look comes down to the styling: A classic denim jacket is taken to a new level by rolling up the sleeves and popping up the collar. The jacket is paired with low-waisted, almost mod-cut pants, and accessorized with a cowboy boot.<\/p>\n

This Martine Rose lace-up tee paired with a knee-length skirt is a great combination of sporty and smart. The sleekness of the mule adds a really nice touch.<\/p>\n

Rikhya\u2019s Chopova Lowena skirt paired with Tabis and a fun, yellow graphic tee is a cool way to make a punk-inspired piece feel personal. I love that she did high braided pigtails with ribbons; it adds a whimsical and nostalgic charm.<\/p>\n

The pastel colors and avant-garde proportions of this Melitta Baumeister dress are unserious yet sophisticated. Adding the gray knit sweater around the shoulders and tying that back in with the socks completes the look.<\/p>\n

This look is perfectly classic. Allen paired a crisp white trench with a tailored white skirt and a simple black top. What makes this work is the simplicity of the look, accompanied by old-school glamour: red nails, a punchy red lip, and a pair of Ray-Bans.<\/p>\n

Yousuf styled a military-esque cobalt jacket with a houndstooth apronlike layer, which looks rock and roll. The flat cap and Chelsea boots make this outfit practical for running around the streets of Milan. My favorite part? The utilitarian belt, complete with painting tools slung around the waist.<\/p>\n

This is another example of a Prada look that feels personal to its wearer. Bruletova took a little black dress and transformed it into something entirely different with this fur hat, evoking early-2000s glamour. The oversize bag plays even more to the drama, and it all feels so pop star.<\/p>\n

I love the way Gray is wearing this Gucci look. It\u2019s such a sexy look, but the hair choice and aviator opticals are so intellectual. The contrast is playful and witty.<\/p>\n

This butter-yellow long top pairs well with this textured and impeccably cut skirt. But the real star of the show? Yes, that\u2019s a silver binder clip on the waist.<\/p>\n

The combination of floral patterns and colors somehow makes sense on Yixin. The globe clutch is interesting here; this look feels like it should be a painting.<\/p>\n

This leather trench coat has now been added to my wish list. It\u2019s perfectly distressed, and I love the way Regina is wearing it with a white baby tee and little hot shorts.<\/p>\n

Trust that designer Claire Sullivan will always show out in a way that only she can. This Vaquera look, paired with her own brand\u2019s tutu skirt, gives the whole look a new aspect of romance. She takes it to the next level with these perfect little baby-blue sparkly pumps. Edgy on top, pop princess on the bottom.<\/p>\n

I love when office-core is taken seriously to the point of irony. Bottle\u2019s baby-bangs and leggings combo is such a moment, but my eyes go directly to the shoes. These Acne pumps are so unserious, and the proportions tickle my brain in the best way.<\/p>\n

This Vaquera bodysuit with padded shoulders is fabulous, and I love that Violetta styled this with a bra you can visibly see under it.<\/p>\n
