Melcher joins from Warner Bros. Discovery, where she most recently served as the Group Vice President of Talent Management and Strategy for its U.S. Networks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tMelcher will oversee all talent management, recruitment, and development initiatives across the company\u2019s entertainment businesses, which include USA Network, Syfy, E! and Oxygen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAt WBD, she oversaw on-air talent across ID, Discovery, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, TNT, TBS, OWN and Cartoon Network.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBefore that, she was an independent casting director with Powell Melcher Casting and began her career in the casting department of The Greenblatt Janollari Studio in LA.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe hire comes after Versant brought in Jessica Kurdali as SVP of Talent Strategy and Charisse Williams Larado as VP, Talent Strategy for Sports.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Versant, the Comcast-backed cable spin-off, has a new entertainment talent chief.
