Alexis Ohanian didn\u2019t forget. <\/p>\n
During an appearance on \u201cFirst Take\u201d on Thursday, the Reddit co-founder, who is married to Serena Williams, playfully jabbed at Smith over previous comments he made about the couple\u2019s marriage. <\/p>\n
Back in February, Smith threw a dig at Ohanian on \u201cFirst Take\u201d when he weighed in on Williams\u2019 cameo during Kendrick Lamar\u2019s halftime performance at this year\u2019s Super Bowl \u2014 saying Williams should get back with her ex-boyfriend, Drake.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell you know what, listen I did it\u2026 headlines are headlines, we can get into that another time,\u201d Smith replied. \u201cOh, I am not qualified. Married? Oh no, not me?\u201d <\/p>\n

Ohanian added that he had hoped to confront Smith, who appeared on the show virtually, in-person.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou hadn\u2019t been married before, right? \u2018Cause I give advice to plenty of founders who want to build billion-dollar companies. And the reason I do that is because I build billion-dollar companies,\u201d Ohanian said. \u201cSo I generally try to stay in my lane with advice.\u201d<\/p>\n

MJ Acosta Ruiz, who was filling in as a host amid ESPN\u2019s search for Molly Qerim\u2019s replacement, chimed in as she cut to commercial. <\/p>\n
\u201cThen we\u2019ll talk marriage advice later, I\u2019m 13 years strong,\u201d she said. \u201cAlexis, thank you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

During \u201cFirst Take\u201d in February, Smith was critical of the Williams after many believed she joined Lamar on stage at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans in perceived shade to her ex-boyfriend, Drake, as both rappers are feuding.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I\u2019m married and my wife is going to join trolling her ex, go back to his ass,\u201d Smith said<\/a> at the time. \u201c\u2018Cause clearly you don\u2019t belong with me. What you worried about him for and you\u2019re with me? Bye. Bye.\u201d<\/p>\n
During an\u00a0interview with TIME,<\/a>\u00a0the tennis legend explained that she was \u201cabsolutely not\u201d shading her ex when she danced to Lamar\u2019s \u201cNot Like Us,\u201d a diss track aimed at Drake.<\/p>\n

Williams explained that working with Lamar was a long time in the making, and that it was a way to pay homage to Compton, Calif., where they both were born and raised.<\/p>\n
Williams and Drake dated in the 2010s, and he previously revealed he\u00a0wrote his hit song, \u201cToo Good,\u201d with Rihanna for Williams<\/a>.<\/p>\n
