Jeremie Frimpong<\/a> hasn\u2019t had the smoothest start to life at Liverpool following his transfer, but his performance for the Netherlands has reminded people of his quality. <\/p>\n

Frimpong joined Liverpool in a \u00a329.5 million move during the summer, and there was much expectation about what he could bring to the squad. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Slot has yet to be convinced by the 24-year-old, leading to him having limited game time, primarily used as a right back. <\/p>\n

Alan Shearer believes Slot isn\u2019t comfortable with Frimpong at right back<\/a>, but his international performance might have given him an alternative option. <\/p>\n

Salah is still considered to be one of the most gifted players in world football, having finished fourth in the 2025 Ballon d\u2019Or<\/a> awards, but his drop-off has been concerning for Liverpool fans. <\/p>\n

Salah averaged 48.6 touches per 90 minutes last season, but his average dropped to 42.6 in the 2025-26 campaign, indicating that he\u2019s now less involved in the games. <\/p>\n

Even more worryingly, his touches inside the opposition\u2019s box went from 9.6 per 90 minutes last season to 5.5 this season, which is concerning given that his lowest-ever average in a full season at Liverpool is 8.5.<\/p>\n

Given Salah\u2019s potential impact on the team\u2019s performances, Slot will have to address the situation to boost Liverpool\u2019s Premier League<\/a> aspirations.<\/p>\n
