(KOTA) &#8211; The South Dakota Legislative Rules and Review Committee approved a controversial change to hunting mountain lions in the Black Hills.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">State legislators gave the green-light to expanding where dogs can be used to detect wildcats in the Black Hills Fire Protection District including some private land.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">South Dakota Public Broadcasting reports Representative Roger DeGroot calls this a win-win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He says in addition to giving people more areas to hunt in, this change gives landowners more options to getting mountain lions off their property.<\/p>\n<p>Download the KOTA News App.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">See a spelling or grammatical error in our story?
