The family of NASCAR star Daniel Suarez was involved in a bad wreck earlier this week.<\/p>\n
Suarez posted on Instagram<\/a> that his wife, Julia Piquet, as well as his mother and mother-in-law, were traveling in Piquet\u2019s Chevy Blazer when they got into a bad wreck.<\/p>\n Thankfully, everyone appears to be OK.<\/p>\n “What is left of Julia\u2019s Chevy Blazer. This car saved the lives of my wife, mother and mother in law,\u201c Daniel Suarez posted. \u201dYesterday was a very scary day. Today, I\u2019m just so grateful that they are alive.”<\/p>\n You can check out pictures of the SUV from the crash here<\/a>.<\/p>\n According to WCNC<\/a> in Charlotte, Julia was waiting to make a left turn when she was rear-ended. Her SUV was then pushed into oncoming traffic, and she made contact with two additional cars. Julia, her mother and Suarez\u2019s mom were all taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the report. No one else was injured during the crash.<\/p>\n Daniel Suarez and Julia Piquet have been married since July of 2024. <\/p>\n They announced their marriage on social media at the time, with Suarez posting: \u201cMarried the love of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n Piquet added: \u201cHappiest day of our lives.
