{"id":292330,"date":"2025-10-10T16:05:33","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T16:05:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/292330\/"},"modified":"2025-10-10T16:05:33","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T16:05:33","slug":"father-accused-of-throwing-toddler-into-bronx-river-appears-in-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/292330\/","title":{"rendered":"Father accused of throwing toddler into Bronx River appears in court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The father accused of throwing his baby boy into the Bronx River back in May appeared before a judge Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Arius Williams, 20, appeared in criminal court to face murder charges in the death of his son.<\/p>\n<p>In May, prosecutors said Williams threw his son into the Bronx River while he was still alive.<\/p>\n<p>A police report wasn&#8217;t taken by the NYPD until almost a month later, though Montrell&#8217;s mother says she went to them several times. On June 8, Williams threatened Montrell&#8217;s mother with a knife and admitted to throwing their son into the river when she approached him.
